Festival of Arts and Cultural Festival, aka the Kerinci Lake Kerinci masyrakat Care (FMPDK) for the first time which was held at Lake Kerinci. This is the fruit FMPDK the brainchild of Mr.. Drs H. Fauzi Sin (Ex-Regent of Kerinci) et al. The festival is an event to introduce customs, arts, culture, crafts, cuisine, a native of thought and the hands of the people of Kerinci to tourists.Many local and foreign tourists witnessed the grand event, all the community gathered at pinggiranDananu Kerinci Kerinci Elegant Nan. FMPDK held every year until 2008. However, pride has been lost.
After Mr. Fauzi ceased to be Regent, FMPDK no longer on hold, whatever the reason. All community Kab. Kerinci is feeling sad, because of the pride which they have previously proud just stopped for no apparent reason.
I, as Uhang Original Kincai (Kerinci) really hope to cpc. H. Murasman, MM who was elected Regent of Kerinci, hoping to be able to continue the grand festival. If the festival is not carried on in 1999, maybe people will not know about the Art and Culture Kerinci.
