
Old Mosque Parks
In 1981, the mosque Donopuro was included in the list of cultural heritage and its name was changed to Madison Park Old Mosque. Old Mosque Architecture Park is similar to the Great Mosque of Demak. Currently, the form still like the original mosque, roofed joglo, the dome there are 3, has 3 doors and suspended 4 pieces that are not carved pillars. The roof of Sumping (wood), instead of tile.
Actually Old Mosque Parks has been renovated several times. Around 1950, the repair is done when the roof of the wood starts to break down. By the heirs at that time, the roof replaced with tile. Around 1990, one of the heirs to the central government proposes to help renovate ancient mosque. Apparently the proposal was approved and the roof was replaced with tile changed to wood. Buildings and additions to the mosque restored authenticity only on fiberglass mounted around the mosque.
Old Mosque Parks also has some traditions. As a Muharam celebration highlighted by a reading of the Qur'an as well as serving sengkolo porridge, rice liwet, vegetable nodes and traditional side dishes such as tofu and tempeh. Vegetable nodes are presented on the night of 1 Muharam mental clarity that has meaning. While rice liwet identical with viscosity, so that the condensed clearness soul in the human heart. Sengkolo molten metal has a sense of hope to be kept away from the disaster, while tofu dishes that represent the most favored people.
In the Old Mosque Parks
