Istana Merdeka Presidential Palace and located in one complex in Jalan Merdeka, Central Jakarta, is the two main buildings covering an area of 6.8 hectares (1 hectare = 1 hektometer square = 10,000 square meters) and located between North Road and Jalan Medan Merdeka veterans, and surrounded by a number of buildings which are often used as a state activity.
